Sound Systems, P.A. for hire around Ashley, Cambridgeshire.

I'm Gren Penn and I'm a sound engineer by trade, play in bands and run the sound for the Open Mic nights and Pantos at the Ellesmere Centre in Stetchworth.

I have a fair sized personal collection of sound equipment - loudspeakers, mixers, microphones and the cables to join them together - and these are available for hire locally at reasonable rates.
I can consider discounts for local charity events.
I can also make high quality sound recordings and Youtube videos for promotional materials.

The Big P.A.

800Watts - a pair of RCF ART 322A active monitors. These are suitable for Bands, Acoustic groups, Open Mics, Parties, Discos, entertaining a group size of approximately 100-150. They sound great just for playing music nice and loud.
Soundcraft Spirit FX8 or Spirit Folio 12-2 mixers, a selection of microphones, wired and radio, and speaker and mic stands are also available to go with the system.

Portable P.A.

I also have a Fender Passport 150 Pro portable system that folds up neatly into a suitcase sized package weighing 30lbs for carrying. This has two speakers (stands can be supplied) and a small mixer delivering 150 Watts and works well for speech and music. Suitable for Quiz Nights, Zumba, parties. It can also be used as on-stage monitoring for the big P.A. It comes with cables to play music from an ipod/ipad.

Microphones & Stands

I have a good selection of microphones from the classic manufacturers - Shure, Electro Voice, Beyerdynamic & Sennheiser which are suitable for public speaking, singing and mic'ing instruments and amplifiers. Also DI boxes, Mic Stands and the cables to connect it all together.
